Hi. I’m Debbie.  I’ve always been creative and for many years have poured this into my career as a primary teacher. I often made props and teaching aids by hand and ran a sewing club at school.

My bag making journey began when my sister in law mentioned she needed a new beach bag and I decided to challenge myself to make one. From there I began to explore different types of bags and try different techniques making bags for friends and family. I love starting with a piece of fabric and creating something that is both beautiful and practical.  So, Janorah Handcrafted was created
